Teclast A10S – A New Android Budget Tablet At 10.1 Inches
Teclast has come up with a new 10.1-inch budget tablet with Android that is up for release these days, called Teclast A10S, for $159: https://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_1693396.html
While it looks similar to the great Teclast T10, is has a lower price because it has lower specs. But at least it has a Full HD 10.1-inch screen with 1920 x 1200 resolution, and it's powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT 8163 processor with its Mali-T720 GPU, then 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage with additional support for 128GB microSD cards.
Teclast A10S also has dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 2MP front camera, 5MP rear camera, and a 6000 mAh battery with Quick Charge support.
So not all that bad considering the price, and what we get from the competition in the same price category. But the 5 hour battery life based on the video playback standard is poor. At 9.5mm in thickness it's not particularly thin either, and it only has a micro-USB 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and Android 7.0 for additional specs.
So a little uninspired when we consider how many good tablet computers there on the market now in the first half of 2018, even if Teclast A10S is on the cheap side.
