TCL To Unveil More Tablets In January 2022
Aaron Zhang from TCL briefly mentioned today that TCL will unveil several new tablets as well as 5G phones at the 2022 CES technology trade show in Las Vegas in January.
He mentioned that TCL is now the fifth largest Android tablet brand in the world, with a 15% growth in Q3 year over year, and that they intend to keep growing beyond these figures.
TCL experienced an even larger growth in USA and Canada, with a 73% growth in Q3. But this is undoubtedly because they didn't have that much presence in the Android tablet market before then.
The last tablet TCL launched in the US, was the TCL Tab Pro 5G tablet, which launched for $399 last month.
Introducing even more affordable 5G tablets may be a part of TCL's strategy next year. But we'll find out for sure at CES.
