New 8-inch Budget Tablet Teclast P85T Coming This Fall In Mint Green
Teclast tells us it will launch a new 8-inch tablet in a few weeks by the name Teclast P85T.
This tablet is the successor to the Teclast P80T, a very cheap 8-inch HD tablet with Android.
But the new Teclast P85T features a couple of upgrades. For starters, it will ship with Android 13 out of the box.
It is still a entry level or budget tablet in the 8-inch segment though, so the specifications are not too high.
It's powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core Allwinner A523 processor, with 4GB LPDDR4x RAM (and 4GB more of virtual RAM), and 64GB storage, with 1TB microSD card expansion support.
The 8-inch screen has a HD resolution of 1280 x 800, with stereo speakers, a 2MP rear camera with LED, and a 0.3MP front camera with face recognition.
But despite that it still features dual-band Wi-Fi 6.
Other specifications includes BT 5.2, a 5000 mAh battery with a 7 hour battery life, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
Teclast P85T weighs 335 grams, so it's not as light as the bestselling 8-inch tablet Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini, but at least it stands out with its mint green color.
The main 8-inch HD tablet that people go to is the Fire HD 8, if they don't want any higher specs.
