Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock Launched For $299
Microsoft surprised with the launch of the Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock today, which is a USB 4 / Thunderbolt 4 dock primarily aimed at Surface tablets and laptops for $299:

The tech specs for the Surface Thunderbolt 4 Dock includes support for 2x 4K monitors at 60Hz, 40Gbps data transfer speeds, 96W USB C passthrough charging power with 165 power, 3x USB A 3.1 Gen 2 ports, 3x USB C 4 Thunderbolt ports, an Ethernet port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB C cable that connects into your main device.
There is a front and rear to this Thunderbolt dock too, where there's a Surface log on on the front side, and a back side with tactile points just above the USB C, USB A, and LAN jack to indicate what port it is underneath.
Among Microsoft tablets, considering that it's connected by a USB C cable, it's compatible with Surface Pro 9, Pro 8, Pro 7+, Pro 7, Surface Go 3 & 2, as well as the Surface laptops and stationary Surface computers that has a USB C port.
To keep it in place there are both screw nuts for desk mounts as well as security lock on it.
