It’s been just five days since Microsoft released the x64 emulation preview for insiders in the development channel. And after that Windows 10 on ARM adaption came todays Surface Pro X price cut too, sending the prices down $200 on all configurations in Microsoft Store:

The new Surface Pro X entry level price now starts at $799, which is a little more reasonable, though still pricey. It’s also just the SQ1 models that have been given a price cut before the holidays.
So the 8GB RAM/128GB storage model now costs $799, the 8GB RAM/256GB storage model costs $1099, while the 16GB RAM/256GB storage model costs $1299, and the 16GB RAM/512GB storage models costs $1599.
Compared to the iPad Pro 12.9 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, the 12.4-inch Tab S7+ with 128GB storage is now $699 for a limited time, while the iPad Pro 12.9 with 128GB storage is $949.
Though to be fair, these are the prices for the Wi-Fi models, and the 13-inch Surface Pro X does at least come with built-in 4G LTE.
