Samsung Notebook 7 Spin 2018 model (NP730QAA-K01) is powered by the latest 8th generation 1.6 GHz – 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 8250U processor, Intel UHD Graphics 620 GPU, with 8GB LPDDR3 RAM (and possible own upgrade to 16GB), 256GB of SSD storage, and a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution display with pen support for the touchscreen.

The pen is an optional accessory on this Windows 10 notebook, becuase Samsung wants to keep the price down at entry level for a Samsung notebook. Nevertheless it has the Windows Ink app pre-installed.

Other main specs includes sleep-and-charge USB ports, full 2×2 Wi-Fi cover, 1.5 Watt stereo speakers, a VGA webcam, a HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, and a USB 2.0 port.

Samsung Notebook 7 Spin (2018) is equipped with a spill resistant and backlit keyboard, a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello, and a 3950 mAh battery with a 9.5 hour battery life.

Notebook 7 Spin (2018) benchmark scores are an average of 4150 in single-core and 13500 in multi-core score on Geekbench 4.
