Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 will be live-streamed on YouTube and their website, just like past years. The event starts at 9 a.m. PT / 6 a.m. ET on July 10. It may seem early because the live event is in Paris, starting at 3 p.m. local time.
What to expect at Galaxy Unpacked 2024?
Samsung traditionally unveils new devices at its Unpacked events, and 2024 will continue this trend. Since its inception in 2009, this biannual event highlights Samsung's latest wearables, tablets, and phones, with speeches from top executives.
This month's Unpacked is anticipated to bring major announcements, especially regarding Samsung's advancements in technology and AI.
Galaxy AI
Technology firms are currently focused on AI, and Samsung is among them. Although we might not witness an announcement as major as the Galaxy AI reveal in January, an update on generative AI tools is likely.

Galaxy Ring
Galaxy Unpacked might bring updates on the eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy Ring. There is a chance the wearable, finger-sized, could even be launched. The ring is built to track heart health and sleep metrics. It aims to complement Samsung's smartwatches, not replace them.
Samsung has been working on the Galaxy Ring since it was hinted at in January. July might be the month we learn when we can start wearing it.
Samsung's Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6
Samsung usually updates its fold and flip phones in August or July. We expect 2024 to follow this pattern. The first 2024 Unpacked event focused on the Galaxy S42 line, which includes the S24 Ultra, S24, and S24+. The July event will likely reveal the new foldable phones, the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.
Leaks show that the Z Flip 6 will get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, matching the S24 Galaxy. It will also feature a main camera of 50MP, an upgrade from the Z Flip 5's 12MP. Additionally, the battery will increase to 4,000mAh from 3,700mAh.
Improvements are not limited to performance. Leaked images suggest that the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will have hinges that are thinner. Samsung continues to refine the hardware of its foldable devices.
Galaxy Watch 7
We might also hear updates about Samsung's smartwatches. Leaks from the end of last month showed that the Galaxy Watch 7 will come in a “Cream” color and a 40-millimeter size, though Samsung is likely to offer more options. The Galaxy Watch 6 is available in both 44-millimeter and 40-millimeter sizes, with several color choices.
The Galaxy Watch 7 will benefit from Samsung's focus on AI. It will have many AI-driven features, including a “Personalized Daily AI companion” for “AI Powered Exercise, AI Powered Communication, and AI Powered Sleep.” Without more leaks, we'll need to wait for Samsung to make an official announcement to know more.
