Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1’s iPad battle
Update – October 1:
(US District Court Judge Lucy Koh issued an order clearing the restrictions against Samsung today, and gave permission for sales of Galaxy Tab 10.1 once again.)
US District Judge Lucy Koh has banned sales of Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in the US while the court decides on the firm's patent infringement dispute with Apple over the iPad tablet.
“Although Samsung has a right to compete, it does not have a right to compete unfairly, by flooding the market with infringing products,” Lucy Koh said.
Fortunately, the ban only applies to the old Galaxy Tab 10.1. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 – 10.1 will remain for sale.
