The new item locator from Samsung that we've been writing about of a little wile, was just unveiled at the online CES, and the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag is taking pre-orders already, with the release date set to around January 27 – 29:
Samsung: samsung.com/us/mobile/mobile-accessories/phones/samsung-galaxy-smart-tag
Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Smart-Tag-Pack-Black/
The Samsung Galaxy SmartTag is a small Bluetooth tracker that can be used to help locate an item that it's been attached to, by using a tablet or smartphone to track it with on a map.
The Galaxy SmartTag weighs just 0.459 oz / 14 grams, and powered by a regular CR2032 button cell battery, it's just 0.39 inches / 9.9mm thick.

The only requirement to the Samsung Galaxy tablets and smartphones is that they run Android 8.0 or newer, and install the SmartThings Find app from Samsung.
And as we mentioned in the leaks on the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag, it's possible to use the app to make the SmartTag alert you of its location with a ringtone too, if you need to hear precisely where it is.
Samsung Galaxy SmartTag color options are black and oatmeal.
