Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Launching Today
After a little bit of a wait, the hot looking new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is launching today, and can be bough either directly from Samsung or from Best Buy.
Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is a Chromebook in the ultraportable notebook/laptop category, since it has a 13.3-inch screen but only weighs 1040 grams. It's also just 9.9mm thick, which is about the thickness of the thickest consumer tablets right now.
And it's not just the fresh design that makes the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook buying, as the specs makes for a good Chrome OS laptop.
It features a 4K AMOLED display with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with an integrates S Pen digitizer to write with, and it's powered by a 10th gen. Intel Core i5-10210U processor, with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM, and 256GB of SSD storage.
The new Samsung Galaxy Chromebook also has the latest Wi-Fi 6, a fingerprint reader for secure login, a backlit keyboard, 2 watt stereo speakers, a 1MP front camera, and a 8MP keyboard deck camera. Ports are 2x USB C ports, and a UFS / uSD memory card slot.
That red color isn't the only option though, as the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook is avilable in both Mercury Grey as well as Fiesta Red.
