Rugged Android Tablet Hotwav R6 Pro With 15,600 mAh Battery Launched Globally
Hotwav is a small company in China that's been producing a few smartphones the last five years. But they have ventured into tablets too, and are now having an international launch of their rugged Android tablet Hotwav R6 Pro, which is launching from the global store AliExpress.
It was available in a small batch through a pre-launch sale, but with the international launch it now seems to benefit from a similar discount again.
The tablet is basically a rugged Android 12 tablet with the sole focus on a long battery life as it features a large 15,600 mAh battery.
And the 10.1-inch screen only has a 1280 x 800 resolution display too, so that will also save some power consumption.
It's powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 chipset with 4G LTE, 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage that supports memory cards up to 1TB.
Despite the HD screen, it actually features 16MP cameras on both the front and the back, but the speakers are stereo speakers, along with dual-band Wi-Fi 5.
So it this worth $219? You be the judge. It has an IP69K and MIL-STD-810H rating, and ships with a back strap that can be attached to the back of the tablet.
