Just know there may be some annoying software quirks since it wasn't made for the US market. Beyond that, it beats out rivals like the OnePlus Pad and holds its own against pricier Samsung slates. Xiaomi Pad 6 Review: A Powerful Android Tablet That Impresses

Chinese tech giant Xiaomi has released an impressive new Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 6. Priced at around $300, this tablet offers great performance, display quality, and battery life at a budget cost.

Powerful Processor Delivers Smooth Performance

The Pad 6 is equipped with a Snapdragon 870 processor which provides excellent performance for most tasks. Web browsing and video streaming are smooth. Graphic-intensive games are playable but may require adjusting graphics settings. Still, performance impresses given the price tag.

Vibrant 11-inch Display Looks Great

The stunning 11-inch LCD display features a super high 2.8K resolution and fast 144Hz refresh rate. Scrolling and animations feel extremely fluid. Colors pop thanks to support for HDR and a high 550-nit peak brightness level. It's a gorgeous media consumption screen.

Quad Speakers Offer an Immersive Experience

Four stereo speakers produce loud, clear audio with thumping bass. Watching movies and shows with this tablet feels like a mini home theater setup. Audio quality impresses given Xiaomi's budget pricing.

Good Battery Life for All-Day Use

A hefty 8,840mAh battery delivers around 10 hours of screen-on time, depending on usage. This allows for all-day media streaming, gaming, web use, etc between charges. Quick charging support helps offset longer charging times.

Premium Design Defies Budget Pricing

Despite costing just $300, the metal and glass Xiaomi Pad 6 looks and feels remarkably premium. You would never guess this was a budget tablet based on the high-end quality design work Xiaomi has achieved here.

Improved Stylus Performance for Artists

The Pad 6 works with an optional Xiaomi Smart Pen stylus. Drawing performance has been upgraded over the older Pad 5 with less lag and improved line smoothing. While not best-in-class, stylus support on the Pad 6 impresses given the affordable price point.

Some Annoying Software Quirks

Since this tablet is made mainly for the Chinese market, the software experience has a few annoying quirks. Certain UI optimizations found on U.S and European models are missing. Manageable, but worth noting.
