I believe PhoneArena provided a decent hands-on look at the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 tablet. They seemed to like the kickstand and cylindrical design which allows for propping it up conveniently. I also appreciated them pointing out the 10.1-inch screen and rotatable camera as nice features - PhoneArena |

I found the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 to have an excellent 10.1-inch, 1280x800 resolution screen and powerful octa-core 1.3GHz processor. However, I was very disappointed it only has 1GB of RAM, which slows it down significantly when multitasking. - N2tech |

Pros: - Loud stereo speakers with good sound quality and Dolby Atmos - Very good battery life, lasts 18-20 hours on a charge - Bright, vivid 10.1-inch IPS LCD display Cons: - Only 1GB RAM which causes lag and slows multitasking - Low screen resolution at 1280x800 - Visible pixelation on the display up close |
The overall rating is based on review by our dedicated team and users.
Lenovo has released an affordable 10-inch Android tablet that manages to pack a surprising amount of features and performance given its low price point.
This tablet stands out with its cylindrical design and built-in kickstand that allows easy propping up on any flat surface.
The kickstand is very sturdy and makes the Yoga Tab 3 well-suited for media viewing.
Visuals Shine But Resolution Disappoints
The 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen is both bright and vivid, making videos and photos pop nicely.
However, upon closer inspection, colors look pixelated due to the low 1280 x 800 resolution display.
Impressive Sound Defies Size
Audio quality defies expectations. The two integrated stereo speakers utilize Dolby Atmos technology to produce loud, crisp sound with decent bass considering the tablet‘s slim form factor.
Rotating Camera Adds Versatility
The Yoga Tab 3 features an 8MP main camera that can rotate 180 degrees, which means it can be used for both standard rear-facing photos as well as selfies.
The camera captures decent shots though 720p video recording leaves room for improvement.
Performance Falls Short
Powering the tablet is a quad-core 1.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor and 2GB of RAM.
Performance is adequate for casual use but slows down considerably when multitasking.
The limited RAM hampers the experience and prevents seamless switching between open apps.
Excellent Battery Life
A sizable 8,400mAh battery delivers between 18-20 hours of usage, letting you binge movies and videos without worrying about constant recharges. Standby time is equally strong.
Light on Storage but Expandable
The on-board 16GB of storage may feel constraining over time but can be expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot supporting cards up to 128GB.
Plastic Build Feels Durable
An all-plastic body helps keep weight manageable at 1.5 pounds.
The textured matte finish resists fingerprints and feels durable enough for everyday use.
Accessories Can Clutter Edges
Plugging in headphones or charging cables around the edges can make things look messy.
The awkward side placement of the power button also frequently causes accidental presses.
The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10 offers buyers an Android tablet focused primarily on media consumption.
If you can live with middling performance and average resolution, it’s a compelling ultra budget tablet option.
