I found the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 to be a decent mid-range Android tablet option. The high resolution 1920 x 1200 IPS screen looks sharp, but it's not very bright and colors seem a bit washed out. - UltrabookReview |

I found the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10 to be a decent home and personal use tablet, but not ideal for business users due to its large size. The design and build quality are nice with a good in-hand feel at 580g. - GdgtCompare.com |

Pros: - Sharp 1920x1200 resolution display - MicroSD slot for expandable storage - Loud speakers with little distortion Cons: - Laggy performance, stuttering and crashing with games/multitasking - Mediocre camera quality - Battery life shorter than expected |
The overall rating is based on review by our dedicated team and users.
Asus recently released its latest Android slate, the MeMO Pad FHD 10 tablet. The Taiwan-based company positions the 10-inch tablet as an affordable big-screen option at just $300. But early reviews indicate cutting corners that make it fails to shine.
The MeMO Pad FHD 10 ships with a 10.1-inch 1920×1200 IPS panel touting 226 pixels per inch. The high resolution provides sharp details and text. But reviewers critique washed out colors and middling brightness. Battery life falls short as a result.
On the Inside, an Intel Atom Z2560 chip powers the experience, backed by 2GB of RAM. Performance handles daily tasks alright but exhibits frequent stuttering with 3D games or heavy multitasking.
Even casual games suffer from longer load times. Speakers disappoint as well with tinny audio despite having stereo configuration.
Design receives criticism too for the mundane plastic construction. The tablet feels hollow and looks bland compared to sleeker metal or glass alternatives. Wide bezels surround the screen and ergonomics seem geared solely for landscape use.
For extras, the MeMO Pad touts a microSD slot, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS support. Asus loads its Android skinning atop 4.2. But reception proves muted for these value-adds with core experience faults overshadowing them.
Reviewers acknowledge merits like sharp detail from the 1920×1200 panel and loud stereo speakers. But at $300, buyers expect more. And competitors like the Nexus 7 and iPad Mini deliver superior construction, cameras, internals, and battery life at similar cost.
Asus seems to have aimed low rather than innovating with its latest. And the result sits firmly in the ‘adequate but not exceptional’ category. Those wanting a 10-inch tablet on the cheap may accept the shortcomings. But anyone valuing optimization demands better for their $300.
