Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews Whether the stylus, smart keyboard, and camera have practical value for most people to warrant the additional cost. Ultimately, I find that it’s an extremely good tablet focused on core iPad functions like productivity and media, but still has limitations compared to a laptop so may not fully replace a computer for everyone.
- The Verge
User Reviews 2 The A9X processor provides incredible benchmark scores. I am concerned about the 2GB RAM limitation for heavy multi-tasking versus the 12.9-inch Pro. Overall, DetroitBORG felt this iPad Pro improves on the iPad Air 2 in many ways with better displays, cameras, speakers and performance while remaining thin and light.
- DetroitBORG
User Reviews 3 The quad speakers provide much better sound, and it has significantly upgraded cameras, now matching the iPhone 6s. I find the faster overall performance from the A9X chip, support for accessories like the Apple Pencil and smart keyboard, and the same thin and light design as the iPad Air 2.

Apple has unveiled an upgraded 9.7-inch version of its professional-grade iPad Pro tablet

The new iPad Pro packs significant improvements, including a brighter display, faster processor, better cameras and speakers, and support for accessories like the Apple Pencil stylus.

Brings Impressive Upgrades

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro ships with Apple's blazing-fast A9X processor chip.

Combined with 2GB of RAM, it delivers record-breaking benchmark scores that beat the iPad Air 2.

The new tablet also touts a brighter screen with less reflectivity and improved color accuracy thanks to Apple's True Tone technology.

The company has significantly upgraded the cameras over the Air 2, now matching the quality of the iPhone 6s.

Another big improvement comes via the four speakers, which provide double the audio output and enriched sound compared to previous iPads.

Supports New Accessories

Unlike past iPads, the new Pro works with Apple's smart keyboard and Apple Pencil stylus accessories.

The keyboard magnetically snaps onto the tablet for laptop-like typing, while the Pencil allows pressure-sensitive drawing and writing.

However, the value of these accessories is questionable for average users.

Limitations and Concerns

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro has half the RAM of its larger 12.9-inch sibling. This could hamper extensive multitasking.

Additionally, whileApple has packed more features into the device, it retains the same physical design.

For these reasons, the upgrades may not entice all customers to pay the increased cost.

The power and accessories seem tailored more for business and creative pros rather than general iPad fans.

Shoppers should consider whether the new tablet warrants its premium price for their needs.
