Polaroid L7 and L10 Tablets Announced At CES 2015
Polaroid have announced two new tablets at CES 2015. The last two years Polaroid have announced tablets at CES where many of them didn't materialize. Details about these tablets are very sketchy, which naturally justifies further skepticism. So, should we give them the benefit of doubt?
The Polaroid tablets are Android tablets where the 7-inch model is called L7 and the 10.1-inch model is called L10.
In Polaroid's own words the specs include: “Super-fast quad-core processors,” Android 5.0, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, front and rear cameras, front speakers, and access to a plethora of apps.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry from that description. Polaroid says that the tablet are to be manufactured by Southern Telecom (they have manufactured Polaroid tablets before), and that these tablets will debut this spring for a MSRP ranging from $99 to $149.
I wish Polaroid would make more of an effort on tablets, since Polaroid does in fact have some really interesting products, like the 14MP Polaroid Socialmatic digital instant print camera that is released on January 15.
