Another New $249 15.6-Inch Windows 10 Laptop Launching With The Deeq Z156 Notebook

From the end of last year and up until now, we have seen a few very cheap 15.6-inch Windows 10 laptops launch and in the process take over a little bit of the 2-in-1 tablet market because these new 15.6-inch laptops have been so cheap. And now another one is coming for $249, with the DEEQ Z156 taking preorders ahead of a late March launch: http://www.gearbest.com/laptops/pp_6145826

Screens are one of the most expensive parts when putting together a tablet or laptop, so if this laptop had been a smaller notebook, the price would have been even lower. The resolution of the full-size 15.6-inch screen is 1366 x 768, so a familiar laptop resolution that people are used to.

And it's powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8300 “Cherry Trail” processor, with 4GB of DDR3 RAM, as well as 64GB of storage with 128GB memory card support.

A smart thing here is that while there isn't a LAN jack on the side of it, it is sold with a RJ45 LAN jack-to-USB adapter in the box, so if you want to rely on a cable to deliver Internet instead of the 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi, then that's an option.

The battery size is 10,000 mAh which is large in this category, estimated to give it a 6 hour battery life.

It has a USB 3.0 port on the left side, and a USB 2.0 port on the right side, as well as a HDMI port, charging port, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Additional specs includes a 0.3MP front camera, and stereo speakers.

They offer an interesting alternative to the largest 2-in-1 tablets, since tablets usually don't grow any larger than 13.3 inches any longer, at least not in anything close to this price range. Deeq meanwhile is shaping up to become something of a leader in the cheap notebook field.
