Mini-LED iPad Pro 12.9, iPad 10.2, And iPad mini 6 In Development According To Analyst

Well respected Apple analyst Min-Chi Kuo has sent out a research note to his subscribers in which he believes Apple is developing three new iPads with the previously mentioned mini-LED technology.

According to the note that was partially republished on MacRumors, Kuo believes that new iPads with mini-LED displays are in development for the iPad Pro 12.9, iPad 10.2, and the 7.9-inch iPad mini 6, who may all launch in 2020.

Interestingly, Kuo also believes that such an iPad Pro 12.9 will launch during fall of 2020. This is interesting, because for a long time there seems to have been a divergence between iPad Pro upgrades in 2020, with some new iPad Pros expected perhaps as soon as March 31, and then yet another iPad Pro 12.9 upgrade or additional iPad Pro 12.9 model at the usual September to October fall event time frame.

We have previously written about our suggestion that perhaps Apple is launching an iPad Pro 12.9 5G model at the fall event, while doing the normal iPad Pro upgrade in Q1, though this is just a suggestion on our part.

Kuo's research note also says that a 14.1-inch MacBook Pro and a 27-inch iMac Pro, both with mini-LED displays are expected in 2020.
