Microsoft Surface Go LTE Advanced FCC Approved Ahead Of Launch
The cellular version of Microsoft's 10-inch Windows tablet, Surface Go LTE Advanced, have just been filed as approved by the FCC ahead of its launch.
The Surface Go Wi-Fi only model was released on August 2.
You can see all the 3G and 4G bands covered by the modem below. And unlike the Surface Go Wi-Fi which is released with the Windows 10 Pro upgradeable OS Windows 10 S, the Surface Go LTE Advanced was FCC approved while running Windows 10 Pro, something that's pretty standard at Microsoft when they have a product geared towards their enterprise clients more than the consumers.
Though a cheap Windows tablet with 4G LTE will start a new category in itself. So now it just remains to be seen what sort of price tag Microsoft will put on it.
