List Of New Samsung Tablets For 2018 Leaked – Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Is One Of Them
What do you get if you pull the framework-res from a leaked beta build of Android 8.0 for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8? Apparently you can get info that you can decipher carefully and break down into a list of unannounced phones and tablets from Samsung in 2018.
That work was done by Mishaal Rahman at XDA Developers, where the information that the leaks were based upon came from internal codenames that Samsung use on their tablets, where some of the codenames were either known from before or were considered easy to assume what tablets they would belong to, since past models have had similar types of codenames.
The reason these codenames appeared in the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 appears to be because Samsung have been testing Android 8.0 on all these configurations.
As of February 1st, none of the following Samsung tablets have been announced for 2018, so here is the leaked preview list of Samsung's upcoming tablets this year.
Samsung Tablet | Codename |
Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 | gts4llte |
Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 Xl 10.5 (2018) | gta2xl |
Samsung Galaxy Tab E 2018 | gtesy18lte |
So the news of a new Super AMOLED Android 8.0 Oreo flagship tablet in the form of Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is huge news.
Other codenames to keep an eye on are Samsung “Jackpot” and Samsung “Gtaxlad” where one of them may be the foldable tablet Samsung Galaxy X.
It's easy to agree with Roland Quandt who mentioned the list, that a thanks goes out to Mishaal Rahman for doing a really great job on compiling this list.
