LG Showcase Foldable 8-Inch OLED And Flexible Displays In Cars

LG Display is using the CES 2023 to showcase their present products available for anyone in need of foldable and flexible OLED displays.

For starters it showcased a 360 degree folding 8-inch OLED display that can be used for the next foldable smartphone.

But Korean companies such as LG and others are also working with the auto sector for the implementation of custom displays of various dimensions for use in cars, seen in the demo here.

It's already common to have a display in place of the traditional instrument panel in a car, as well as having a tablet form of display in the center console, though it's less common to see a full display on the passenger side too, or a display in the steering wheel as LG is demonstrating.

The screen technology for the automotive displays are LG's own P-OLED and LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon) LCD technologies.

LG is only showcasing these products, and have not said anything new during CES about launching a a new foldable smartphone or computer of their own.
