Lenovo has been awarded a 2023 Red Dot design award for the cute little Lenovo Intelligent Voice Mouse.
The Red Dot award is typically awarded to products that not only have a good esthetic design combined with visible positive functions, but has something more in terms of inside functionality too. So that seems like a good match.
The Lenovo Intelligent Voice Mouse has two types of functions.
On the one hand it’s an ordinary wireless 2.5 GHz Bluetooth mouse, with a 800 mAh rechargeable battery, four step adjustable sensitivity up to 2400 dpi, and a USB dongle that when unplugged from a tablet or other computer, can actually be stored underneath the mouse during transportation.
The other function is the voice feature. The mouse has its own mic inside the mouse that can be activated by pressing the mic button on the left side. Once pressed, users can use their voice to either dictate speech-to-text, do translations in 216 languages, or be set up to act out voice commands of a users choice, similar to a shortcut.
It’s compatible with Windows and Mac, and has the color options of a peach or blue, though with a bit more of a plasticky look to it than a high-end mouse, like the Logitech MX Master 3.
Also, the Lenovo Intelligent Voice Mouse mouse isn’t in stores in North America at the moment. But we’ll update if it arrives.
