Lenovo Miix 520 Starts Taking Orders In United States

The Lenovo Miix 520 have just started taking orders in United States, for what is Lenovo's newest 12.2-inch Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet, which is powered by an 8th gen. Intel Core i7 processor:

The question is, which one? Lenovo have 3 different processor options for the Lenovo Miix 520, with the top configuration being an Intel Core i7-8550U powered Miix 520 with 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage.

But Lenovo Miix 520 taking orders today is one configured with a 1.8 GHz Intel Core i7 processor, which would indicate the i7-8550U CPU, but we still need to know before ordering. Though the 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 256GB of SSD PCIe storage is straightforward.

I guess we will know more soon. Highlights of the Miix 520 includes the processor and power, optional 3D camera, side fingerprint reader, 2 side and 2 front microphones for “longer distance” voice commands to Cortana, a backlit keyboard with glass cover touchpad, full Wi-Fi cover, and USB 3.0 Type-C port.

The opinion on the screen is mixed, because it has 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity for the Active Pen 2 stylus from Lenovo, but also has just a Full HD resolution at 1920 x 1200. So considering the alternatives, that combination might prove the main obstacle for this Surface Pro alternative.
