HP have started taking orders for the larger 13.3-inch Windows 8.1 detachable HP Envy x2 13, for a price of $799. It will ship on November 20 says HP, although if you order it, HP currently changes the estimated delivery date to December 1: http://www.amazon.com/HP-Detachable-13-3-inch
(UPDATE: See the new HP Elite x2 (1013 G3))
HP Envy x2 13 is a 64-bit Windows 8.1 tablet with a choice of Intel Core M-5Y10 dual-core processor and 4GB of RAM, or for $260 more you can get it with a Intel Core M-5Y70 dual-core processor and 8GB of RAM.
There's also a choice between a resolution of 1366 x 768 or for $100 more, a Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution display.
The price of $799 buys you the 128GB model of HP Envy x2 13, but you can configure it with 256GB instead for $120 more, or 512GB as well for $320 more.

Another option you can buy with the HP Envy x2 13 is a Windows 8.1 USB system recovery back up, so you can always restore the tablet back to the original settings if need be.
It doesn't come with Office though, but a lot of customers of this computer already have Office, so that's understandable. But there are four various Office packages to chose from there too.
This is a single-band Wi-Fi tablet, but at least it supports 802.11 ac. The keyboard is included in the price, and it is backlit too, like the Pro Type Cover keyboard you can get on the Surface tablets.
