One of the latest additions to Instagram is Notes, which allows you to share text-based stories with your audience. What Exactly Are Notes on Instagram

Notes on Instagram are essentially stories presented in a text format. These notes appear on the DMs page and are visible to your selected audience for 24 hours. They can be used creatively to share quick pieces of information with your close ones. Whenever they open their DMs page, your notes will be floating on top, providing them with a quick glimpse of your message.

How to Post a Note on Instagram

  1. Launch the Instagram app on your Android or iPhone device.
  2. Tap on the Messenger icon located at the top corner of the screen to access the DMs page.
  3. Below the search bar, you will see your profile picture and your existing note. Tap on your profile picture to share a new note.
  4. A new page will open with the option to “Leave a note” at the top. Type your note and select the audience you want to share it with.
  5. Tap on the share button to post your note. You will be able to see it on the DMs page.
  6. If you want to delete or edit your note, simply tap on your profile picture again.

Please note that currently, Instagram only allows you to share notes with your followers or close friends.
