How to Pin or Unpin Posts on Instagram

How to Pin Instagram Posts
When you pin a post on Instagram, it will appear at the top of your feed, allowing you to highlight it and make it more visible to your audience. Keep in mind that any new posts you publish will appear after the pinned posts in your profile grid.
To pin a post or Reel on Instagram, follow these simple steps:
- Open the Instagram app on your Android or iPhone.
- Tap on your profile picture icon at the bottom to go to your profile screen.
- Find the post or Reel you want to pin and tap on it to open it.
- Tap the three-dot icon at the top of the post and select “Pin to your profile.”
The post will be pinned and will appear in the top-left corner of your Instagram feed, marked with a pin icon.
How to Unpin a Post on Instagram
If you want to remove a pinned post from your profile, follow these steps:
- Go to your profile screen by tapping on the profile picture icon.
- Tap on the post you want to unpin.
- Press the three-dot icon and select “Unpin from profile.”
The post will be unpinned and will go back to its original position in your feed.
How to Rearrange Pinned Posts
Pinned posts on your profile will be displayed in the order in which you pinned them. The first post you pin will appear in the upper-left corner, but as you pin more posts, it will move to the right side.
To rearrange pinned posts, you will need to unpin them and then pin them again in the order you want them to appear. Pin the post you want to show on the right side first, then the middle one, and finally the one on the left side.
