How to Get Peacock TV on Firestick Outside the US
Peacock TV is a popular streaming service by NBC Universal that offers ad-supported free content. However, it is currently only available in the US and does not support Amazon's Fire TV devices. But don't worry, there is a workaround. In this article, I'll show you how to get Peacock TV on Firestick from anywhere in the world.
How to Get Peacock TV on Firestick Outside the US
To get Peacock TV on Firestick outside the US, you'll need to follow a few simple steps.
Step 1. Enable “Apps from Unknown Sources”
First, go to Settings on your Firestick, scroll over to “My Fire TV,” and select “Developer Options.” In this menu, turn on both “ADB Debugging” and “Apps from Unknown Sources.” Don't worry, you can always disable “Apps from Unknown Sources” after you've installed Peacock.
Step 2. Install Downloader app on Firestick
Next, you'll need to download the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore. You can find it in the app store or simply press and hold the Mic button on your Firestick remote and ask Alexa to “Install Downloader app.”
Step 3. Download and Install Peacock App
After installing the Downloader app, open it and use the in-built browser to navigate to “https://www.apkmirror.com/.” Once the website loads, search for “Peacock TV” and download the Peacock TV (Android TV) app. Once the download is complete, install the app on your Firestick.
Step 4. Download and Install VPN App
If you are located outside the US, you'll need to install a VPN app on your Firestick to access Peacock TV. You can choose a VPN app of your choice that is supported on Firestick. Open the Downloader app again and search for your preferred VPN app. Download and install the VPN app on your Firestick.
Step 5. Login to Peacock TV
Now, open the Peacock TV app on your Firestick and sign in or create a new account. If you are creating a new account, you don't even need to enter your credit card details. Once you are logged in, you can enjoy the free catalog of content on Peacock TV.
If you encounter any login errors, try clearing the cache and force closing the app. Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > find Peacock TV, and then clear data and force stop the app. After that, run the VPN again and open the app. It should start working without any issues.
That's it! You can now enjoy Peacock TV on your Firestick, even if you are outside the US. Happy streaming!
