Why Consider Disabling Animated Art in Apple Music
There are a few reasons why you might consider disabling album art in your Apple Music app, even if you enjoy it.
-
Data consumption: Animated full-screen videos require network data. If you use Apple Music frequently or plan to use it while traveling, disabling animated album art can help save mobile data and improve load times while streaming songs.
-
Motion sickness: Some individuals are prone to motion sickness and find animations uncomfortable. While Apple has a setting to reduce motion across the UI, it might not be sufficient. To accommodate users with motion sensitivity, Apple allows disabling motion or animations for specific apps and features.
-
Distraction: For some, animated album art may be a distraction. If you prefer the simplicity of traditional cover art and enjoy analyzing its meaning or message, disabling animated album art can provide a more focused listening experience.
Whether you want to conserve data, avoid motion sickness, or minimize distractions, disabling or enabling animated album art in Apple Music is a quick and straightforward process on your iPhone. Enjoy your personalized listening experience!
