How to Easily Share Your Google Bard Conversations
Are you tired of losing track of your interesting conversations on Google Bard? Did you know that you can actually share these conversations with your friends? In this article, we will show you how to easily share and unshare your Google Bard conversations.
Before Getting Started
Before we dive deep into the process of sharing your Google Bard conversations, there are a few things you should know:
- Bard allows you to share specific responses or entire conversations.
- People who have access to the shared link can only view the conversation but cannot edit or continue the chat.
- Keep in mind that any files you included in the prompt will not be included in the shared conversation.
- However, images generated from Bard will be included on the shared conversation page.
- Remember that these are public links, so anyone with the link will be able to access your conversation. Be cautious and avoid including any personal details in your conversations or share the links securely.
Now that we have covered the basics, let's move on to the steps to share your Google Bard conversations.
How to Share Google Bard Conversations
- Open bard.google.com in your browser to access Google Bard AI chatbot. Select the chat from the sidebar that you want to share.
- If you want to share only one response from the entire conversation, click on the share icon below that particular response. Then, click on the Share option in the pop-up menu.
- Make sure the “This prompt & response” option is selected. You will not see this option if you have only one response in the entire chat.
- If you wish to share the entire conversation, click on the share icon below any response and select the “Entire chat” option in the pop-up.
- Bard will use your prompt as a headline. If you want to make it shorter and more readable, click on the “Generate more” option under the Headline section to generate smaller headlines. You can also edit the generated headlines later.
- Once you're satisfied with the settings, click on the “Create public link” option at the bottom.
- On the next pop-up, click on the copy icon to copy the link and share it with anyone. Alternatively, you can also directly share the link to your social media apps like Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, and LinkedIn from Bard.
That's it! Now anyone with the link can open it and access the conversation without needing a Bard account. Remember, they can only view the conversation and cannot edit or continue the conversation further.
