Honor Pad 8 Unveiled – 12 Inch Snapdragon 680 Tablet

Honor took the wraps off the Honor Pad 8 today, which is their 2022 model 12-inch tablet powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor.

It's launching in China first after a preorder round that lasts through July 29, where the price is 1499 Yuan for the 4GB RAM model, and 1799 Yuan for the 6GB RAM model.

Despite its 12-inch screen size, this is still a Full HD tablet with a display resolution of 2000 x 1200, so that's unusual. Both model options also feature 128GB of storage, so it's just the RAM and the sand, blue, and green colors options to chose between.

Other Honor Pad 8 specs includes a 7250 mAh battery, both front and rear 5MP cameras, 8 speakers with HONOR Histen sound and DTS:X Ultra, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.1, and it has a USB C port.

It runs Android 12 with Android Magic UI 6.1 for operating system, and the 350 nits bright display also has support for the Magic-Pencil 2.

The tablet is 6.9mm thick and weighs 520 grams, which makes it a light 12-inch large tablet.
