Many audio technology brands are gather under the Harman brand these days, including Harman Kardon, JBL, AKG, just to mention a few. So chances are that you're hearing some sounds from one of their products every day.
The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3 is a mid-range speaker before the prices goes up to the upper-mid range, where you get a stereo speaker with 2x 15 watt speakers, and a 100 watt bass speaker. It covers a frequency range of 45Hz to 20KHz.

So it's another alternative to the traditional speakers with their grills or exposed diaphragm.
On top of that, the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 3 are Bluetooth speakers too, which goes along with the design I guess you can say, and it features a sort of mood light called ambient light, that can light up in different colors either from the sides of the inside or in the middle.
