Samsung is making waves in the budget smartphone segment by actively testing Android 15 with One UI 7.0 on several affordable devices. 

The latest evidence comes from a Geekbench listing that spotted the Galaxy M14 LTE running the newest Android version.

Testing Phase Begins

The Galaxy M14 LTE's appearance in Geekbench's database marks a significant step in Samsung's Android 15 rollout plans. While this hints at progress, it's worth noting that the actual firmware hasn't hit Samsung's servers yet. 

This isn't surprising, given Samsung's typical update hierarchy, in which premium devices usually take precedence.

What to Expect

The Galaxy M14, which launched in March 2023, might see its 5G variant getting the update before the LTE model. This pattern follows previous update cycles, where the 5G version received Android 14 significantly earlier than its LTE counterpart.

The testing isn't limited to the M14 series. Reports suggest that Samsung is also testing Android 15 on:

• Galaxy A15 5G

These A-series devices are expected to receive the Android 15 update ahead of the Galaxy M14, following Samsung's usual update strategy.
