Amazon Prime members, new or old, is getting an exclusive sale on the Fire 7 tablet for $35 and the even more likeable Fire HD 8 for $55 starting today on September 10 and lasting until September 16.
Fire HD 8 has an 8-inch screen with HD resolution of 1280 x 800, is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz Mediatek processor, has 1.5GB of RAM, and options of 16GB or 32GB of storage. MicroSD card support has increased from 200GB to 256GB on the new model this year. Though Amazon content and pictures taken with the tablet camera can be stored for free on Amazon’s cloud.
This 8-inch tablet also has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, a 12 hour battery life, a 0.3MP front camera, a 2MP rear camera, and dual-band 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi cover.
The Fire 7 tablet has a 7-inch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 8 hour battery life, dual-band 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB and 16GB storage options, a 0.3MP front camera, a 2MP rear camera, a mono speaker, a micro-USB port, and a low weight of 295 grams.
