Chuwi will launch a new 10.1-inch Android 10 tablet with keyboard in a couple of weeks that’s named Chuwi SurPad, which is supposed to launch for $249 in the US, with spec that are in the upper mid-range spectrum:

At the core of it is an octa-core MediaTek MT6771V processor and Mali-G72 GPU, with 4GB of DDR4X RAM, and 128 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
The 10.1-inch Full HD screen has a display resolution of 1920 x 1200, with support for Chuwi’s own digitizers. So the tablet is not too different from the 6GB RAM Chuwi HiPad X.

Other Chuwi SurPad specs includes 8MP front and rear cameras, an 8000 mAh battery, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio combo jack, and a USB C port.
The weight of the SurPad is 542 grams, with a thickness of 9.2mm. This full metal tablet still manages to look a little different from other tablets, with details like a red ring around the rear camera lens and a red power button on the left side.
The keyboard and cover is a magnetically attachable keyboard with a cover that features a rear kickstand too. That design feature should be very practical, so it’ll be interesting to see how that holds up in practice.
