Ulefone is about to launch its third tablet computer, and this time it's finally a rugged tablet. It will launch on AliExpress after a pre-sale event this week.
Aptly called Ulefone Armor Pad, this is a relatively cheap Android 12 tablet where the point has been to make something as rare as a pocketable and cheap rugged tablet for everyone.
So the 8-inch screen has a HD resolution of 1280 x 800, and the processor is a 2.0 GHz Mediatek MT6762V processor, operating together with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

But the Ulefone Armor Pad has highlights sucs as a GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, integrated 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5, a 5MP front camera and 13MP rear camera with LED, stereo speakers, a 7650 mAh battery, and the ruggedness rating is IP68/IP69K.
Another unique feature for a tablet is a custom hot button on the side.
It's launching for just $159 during the pre-order campaign this week, but can also be bought with a rear hand strap for $20 more, and this hand strap even doubles as a form of kickstand.
