Bluetooth 5.0 Officially Certified On Coming Samsung Phones
The first Samsung Bluetooth 5.0 capable smartphones have been officially certified just now by the official Blueooth certification body, and these upcoming Samsung smartphones carry variations of the model number SM-480, SM-G480, and SM-G485, with additional market variations.
For the last 3 years, nearly all smartphones and tablets have been equipped with Bluetooth 4.0, 4.1, or 4.2. So Bluetooth 5.0 is one of the new technologies on mobile devices in 2017. And Bluetooth 5.0 has an element of USB to it, in that just like USB has been able to unify devices in a way never seen before in the world of computers, Bluetooth 5.0 too will increase the range of uses, and thus increase compatibility with other devices and add more uses because of the increased capacity and flexibility of Bluetooth 5.0.
Bluetooth 5.0 has a 4 times longer range than Blueooth 4.0, with higher bandwidth speeds too, as well as new means of communication with other smart devices to stay as relevant as possible in today's world of “Internet of Things” (IoT) technologies.
Bluetooth 4.0 and 4.1 has a throughput of 0.3 MB/s, while Bluetooth 4.2 manages a throughput of 0.8 Mb/s. The 2 Mb/s rated Bluetooth 5.0 meanwhile manages a throughput of 1.4 Mb/s.
