We saw it launch in Asia first, so this Chromebook tablet has been on the market for a few weeks elsewhere already.
Asus Chromebook CM3 (CM3000) has several things going for it. It comes with the keyboard included, as well as the integrated digitizer pen that can do super fast charging in 15 seconds that will last for 45 minutes. So this is a neat and portable tablet that can be used for both fun and productivity work.
Specs on the Asus Chromebook CM3 (CM3000) begins with the 10.5-inch Full HD screen, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and 320 nits brightness. It is a stand-alone tablet, but when the back cover is put on you get a kickstand as well, without having to connect the keyboard too. So that’s a smart design feature.
The detachable keyboard with a trackpad, attaches magnetically to the tablet and has pogo pins for connections.
Asus Chromebook CM3 has an octa-core 2.0 GHz MediaTek 8183 processor for brains, 4GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 64GB and 128GB eMMC storage options.
Battery life is good, lasting for 12 hours, with 3A 45W power adapter and 27WHrs battery.
Other specs are stereo speakers, Google Assistant voice recognition support, a 2MP front camera, an 8MP rear camera, a USB C port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
The weight is 510 grams while the thickness is 7.9mm-8mm, and the only color available is called Mineral Grey.
