Apple iPad Pro Entering Production In April – New OLED iPad Air In 2022
A couple of iPad rumors appear to have been clarified today, regarding the transition to OLED and mini LED displays, as well as some potential launch dates for the first new iPads in 2021.
The iPad Air is now said to transition over to an OLED display in the second half of 2022, according to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who was quoted on MacRumors.
Meanwhile, the introduction of mini LED on an iPad Pro is now said to start next month, as a mini LED iPad Pro 12.9 won't go into production before the second half of April.
So we still seem to be several weeks away from the launch of the new iPad Pros. The New iPad Pro 11 and iPad Pro 12.9 are expected to retain its size, but receive an upgrade to an Apple A14X chipset as well as improved cameras, and a Thunderbolt port.
