10.5-Inch Entry Level Tablet Alldocube iPlay 9T Coming In May

Alldocube is launching an new entry level tablet in the 10-inch range soon, called Alldocube iPlay 9T.

The highlight is support for 8K output and microSD card support up to 2TB. On the downside, we’re dealing with a Rockchip RK3566 processor, which is slow for a modern Android 11 tablet. Buy at least that means the launch price will be just over $100, and the low price is really the whole point of this tablet.

The 10.5-inch screen has a Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 and 400 nits brightness, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

Alldocube’s iPlay 9T also features stereo speakers with Alldocube’s proprietary sound technology, as well as a 2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera, Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.0, a 5300 mAh battery, a 3.5mm audio combo jack, and actually 2x USB C ports.

Now that would be an interesting trend, if more Android tablet manufacturers would add more than just one USB port. Multiple ports is normal on Windows tablets, but not on Android, so that’s very interesting.

It’s not to chunky either, with a weight of 477 grams and a thickness of 8.6mm. I haven’t seen it in store yet, but it will launch in May nonetheless.
