New Acer Aspire 7 (A715-73G) Release April 8 With Intel Core i7-8705G
One week before Acer's annual main event in the middle of April the same company will release the new Acer Aspire 7 (A715-73G-75BW) that's now taking orders for $1499: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Aspire-i7-8705G-Radeon-A715-73G-75BW/
The new Acer Aspire 7 has a modern top of the line setup for 2019 and it will be the newest laptop in April. It's 15.6-inch FHD Windows 10 laptop that's powered by an 8th gen. quad-core 4.09 GHz Intel Core i7-8705G processor, with AMD Radeon RX Vega M GL GPU, 16GB DDR4 RAM, and 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD storage.
I've only seen one benchmark of it so far when it achieved a Geekbench 4 multi-core score of 13289 with just 8GB RAM. By comparison, the more gaming aspired Acer Aspire A715-72G version with the hexa-core Intel Core i7-8750H processor can easily achieve over 20000 in multi-core scores, so it all depends on the needs.
Acer Aspire 7 is wrapped in a metal chassis so it doesn't look or feel plasticy, it has a precision touchpad, fingerprint reader, and backlit keyboard. So the new Acer Aspire 7 A715-73G is not gaming geared, but more towards professionals who want a powerful and modern workhorse laptop that can feel powerful for a while.
