3rd Generation Getac F110 Rugged Tablet Launched
Getac announced the 3rd generation Getac F110 rugged tablet today, with new hardware and upgraded security features.
Getac F110 is a 11.6-inch Windows 10 tablet certified according to MIL-STD 810G, IP65 and MIL-STD-461F standards, which makes it even more rugged than Sony's waterproof tablets.
The main upgrades with the new 3rd gen. Getac F110 is with the new 6th generation Intel Core i7 and i5 processors with vPro security features. The OS is Windows 10/8.1/7 Pro.
The resolution of the 11.6-inch screen is just 1366 x 768, but it has 800 nits of brightness, which is extremely high. This a LumiBond 2.0 sunlight readable LED display with digitizer support.
Unlike regular consumer tablets, the Getac tablet also has buttons on the front with these being the power, Windows, programmable, camera, barcode reader trigger, and volume rocker buttons.
With a weight of 1390 grams and a thickness of 24.5 mm, this is no Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, but then again it has hot swappable batteries, 128GB to 512Gb storage, 4GB RAM, optional barcode reader, optional contactless smart card reader, and a 3 year bumper-to-bumper warranty.
