13-Inch Windows Tablet HP Elite x2 G8 Announced – Launching In April

The HP Elite series has been with us for many years, and like its predecessors it has model options that even extend to the display.
Display choices are between a 1920 x 1280 resolution display or a 3000 x 2000 resolution display, with 400 – 1000 nits brightness and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Of course, the main upgrade here is the new 11th gen. Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor choices. HP will specify these choices closer to launch. Other main options are between 8GB or 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, 128GB to 2TB SSD storage with SED or Intel Optane.

HP Elite x2 G8 supports fast charge with up to 50% in 30 mins for the 47WHr battery, and it has Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, optional 4G, and optional rechargeable HP Active Pen G3 digitizer.
The stereo speakers feature Bang & Olufsen audio with 350 Hz bass roll-off according to HP. The IR and 2MP front camera, as well as the 8MP rear camera also feature privacy shutters. The mics also supports an improved noise suppression.
The new backlit and square keyboard now features a programmable key as well, which can come in handy. This keyboard is of the rigid kind. Thunderbolt 4 is supported on two of the USB C ports on the tablet, while the third USB C port features plain USB 3.1.
HP Elite x2 G8 weighs 1170 grams, as it is a 13-inch tablet with a built-in kickstand after all. The thickness is 8.8mm.
