11-inch OUKITEL OT8 Revealed With TUV SUD-Certified Eye-Friendly Screen
OUKITEL, a Chinese electronics manufacturer, has revealed its latest tablet model, the OUKITEL OT8. This new 11-inch tablet aims to provide an affordable yet powerful device for entertainment and productivity.

The OUKITEL OT8 features an 11-inch 2K display with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels. The company claims the screen has been certified by TÜV SÜD, a German safety certification organization, for low blue light emissions to reduce eye strain.
Under the hood, the OT8 is powered by an octa-core Unisoc T606 processor with a clock speed of 1.6GHz. This is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The tablet runs Android 13 OS out of the box.
One of the highlights of the OUKITEL OT8 is its massive 8800mAh battery. According to the company, this battery capacity enables up to 2 days of continuous usage on a single charge. It also supports 18W fast charging to quickly top up when running low.
For photography, there is a 13MP main camera on the back and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The OT8 also features a USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack, four speakers, dual SIM slots, and a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
On the connectivity front, the tablet includes support for 4G LTE networks, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and four global navigation systems – GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and Beidou.
The OUKITEL OT8 tablet will be available in three color options – Gray, Green, and Purple. The company will launch the device on Chinese e-commerce websites in January 2024 at an introductory price of $179.99. The original retail price is set at $299.
With its large display and battery capacity, the OT8 is positioned as an entertainment and casual gaming tablet. The budget price tag makes it an affordable option for students and families looking for a secondary media consumption device. However, the Unisoc processor may limit performance for more intensive tasks.
