After we started covering the February tablet deals yesterday, we’ve got the pleasure of including Microsoft Surface Pro 4 deals into the February sales today as well. Turns out Microsoft is giving the Surface Pro 4 a $100 discount on all models until February 27 or until Microsoft Store runs of of stock of each of the individual Surface Pro 4 models: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msusa/en_US/pdp/Surface-Pro-4/
Now, in addition to the sale on this tablet, there is some related good news too which have not been given enough attention during the last few days. And that’s the released bug fix that addressed the first initial bug that interrupted the user experience of the first Surface Pro 4 tablets on the market. On Friday last week, Microsoft released an update for both the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 that addressed the reported battery charging issues, thermal tuning, wireless and Bluetooth performance, and the detach-reattach bug. Microsoft’s engineers are now studying a power management issue too that has affected a few tablets, and Microsoft will release an update for those customers in the coming weeks.
Even though this update was expected at this time, to actually get this fix into the tablets is huge news, since this fix pretty much eradicates any prior objection to the Surface Pro 4.
Surface Pro 4 was unveiled during a fun press conference right after Microsoft showed off their hologram games on October 6, before the tablet was released on October 26. An edition with 1TB of storage was added on January 22nd. Already the week after launch, the Surface Pro 4 was rated with the best display of all LCD display tablets by DisplayMate, with particularly impressive results on color accuracy.
February’s Surface Pro 4 deal is for the famous Windows 10 Pro tablet with a 12.3-inch screen that has a whopping 2736 x 1824 resolution and a well adapted digitizer support for the included Surface Pen, along with the latest and fastest 6th generation Intel Core processors, ranging from i7, to i5, to m3, storage options in the range from 128GB to 1TB, along with 4GB, 8GB, or 16GB of RAM.
The February Surface Pro 4 deal lasts until 2/27 and saves customers who wants to buy it $100, so that the entry version now begins at $799.
