Samsung announced their second foldable smartphone in San Francisco today, and it’s the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip. It will be sold in limited quantities from February 14th, in both the US and Korea at the same time, with many other markets around the world launching it on February 24th:
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a 6.7-inch widescreen with Dynamic AMOLED display, a 21.9:9 aspect ratio, and 2636 x 1080 resolution. Once folded in the middle, you can see messages or notifications on a small 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display on the back of the this foldable.
When folded, it measures 73.6mm x 87.4mm, with a thickness of 17.3mm. Folded out, it is 167.3mm wide, 73.6mm long, and 6.9mm thick. The weight is 183 grams.
Running Android 10, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, a 3300 mAh battery, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB C port.
The all important cameras are a 10MP front camera at F2.4, with dual 12MP Ultra Wide Camera and a 12MP Wide-angle Camera on the back.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip color options are the black and purple that you see in the images. The price is $1380.
