Considering some of the inaccuracies and missing details from the leaks ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite announcement on Thursday, it was good to finally see Samsung announce all the official specs:

It will still launch in June in the first markets, and as a small HD tablet it will cost $159, though there are 4G options as well that will make it a little pricier.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite features an 8.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1340 x 800, powered by the 2.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT8768WT processor, with 3GB or 4GB of RAM, and 32GB or 64GB of storage.
Running Android 11, the Tab A7 Lite also features a 2MP front camera, 8MP rear camera, stereo speakers with AKG, Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.0, a 5,100 mAh battery, a USB C 2.0 port, and a 3.5m audio combo jack.
This 8.7-inch tablet has grey or silver color options, with a tablet thickness of 8mm and a weight of 366 grams.
