New 8-Inch Android 7.0 4G Tablet Cube Free Young X5 T8 Pro To Launch In August – Now Taking Orders

A brand new 8-inch Android 7.0 tablet with 4G LTE is coming onto the market next month, when the unlocked Cube Free Young X5 T8 Pro 4G LTE will be released for $269 after August 10:

And it has more than just Android 7.0 and 4G to make it attractive. It’s powered by an octa-core 1.5 GHz MediaTek MTK8783 processor and Mali-T720 GPU, with 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

The 8-inch screen has Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution, and to take pictures it even has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, and a 5MP front camera. The dual-SIM 2G/3G/4G supports both phone and data, while other connectivity options are dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. As well as the micro-USB 2.0 port and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors includes g-sensor, light sensor, and GPS.

I’d say that the battery is on the short side though, with a 3800 mAh capacity and average 4 hour battery life based on the industry standard video playback benchmark.

Design wise this tablet is made of an all metal unibody in silver grey which makes it sturdy and also adds a nice finish to it, with silver edges around the back frame.

Cube have been coming out with a few good tablets and notebooks over the last 2 years, like the the interesting Cube Mix Plus or Cube Thinker, so it exciting to see that Cube has no intention of stopping their production of good tablets.
