Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20 Leaks Via FCC

Lenovo already have two 7-inch tablets named Lenovo Tab 2 A7-10 and Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30, so logically, what was missing was a Lenovo Tab 2 A7-20. But that gap have just been filled after I discovered that model having filed for approval with the FCC.

It appears to be a Wi-Fi only model, since the only two wireless technologies that were SAR tested on the tablet were the 2.4 GHz b/g/n Wi-Fi and the Bluetooth transmitter.

Other specs revealed were the Li-ion 3450 mAh battery, Dolby audio speaker system, and that it seems to ship with JBL earphones for accessory. The design is similar to that of the $79 Lenovo Tab 2 A7-30, and we should expect the main specs to be the same too, meaning Android 5.0, a 7-inch IPS screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek processor, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB/16GB of storage.

It was first tested only two weeks ago, so we should not expect this tablet to hit the market before August. So for those looking for the newest 7-inch Android tablet at a low price this summer, the Asus ZenPad C 7.0 (Z170C) should be a better choice.
