Lenovo BlueBorne Bluetooth Security Patch Updates Pushed Out To Affected Lenovo Tablets

Lenovo is now near complete in pushing out the security patch on their tablets against the BlueBorne security threat that could potentially enable remote code execution through Bluetooth.

Only one specific model number is left without a target date for a fix, and that's the model number Lenovo TB-8504F, which is one of the Lenovo Tab 4 8 tablets. However, that's just the Tab 4 8 ending with the model number F, as all other Lenovo Tab 4 8 tablets should have received the security patch by now.

The same BlueBorne security patch has rolled out to nearly 30 other Lenovo tablet models, including various editions of Lenovo Tab 3 10, Lenovo Tab 7 Essential, Lenovo Tab 7, Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus / Lenovo Xiaoxin (Asian market), Lenovo Tab 4 10, Lenovo Moto Tab, and even the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus.

For the list with affected model numbers, check Lenovo's official security page on this issue.
