This Kindle e-reader is the waterproof 6-inch Kindle Paperwhite which makes it both the 10th generation Kindle e-reader as well as the 4th generation Kindle Paperwhite. It was released on November 7th 2018, thus making it the newest Kindle on the market in 2019.

Kindle Paperwhite is waterproof down to 2 meters even, so that makes it great around the pool or pretty much every other imaginable outdoor scenario. It has a good E-Ink display that can be turned up very bright if need be, a 1500 mAh battery with 30 hour battery life, 8GB and 32GB storage options with free cloud storage for all the Amazon books and other content, text-to-speech feature, a low weight of 182 grams and thickness of 8.18mm, and Kindle Paperwhite even has an optional 3G cellular connectivity model with free use of the connectivity.

Currently the Kindle Paperwhite is now only available in black, but there's a heap of beautiful and colorful back covers for it for those who feel like accessorizing it a little bit.
